No sooner had the proverbial ink dried on this home page and my plans changed. I'm now the State Coordinator for Disaster Response for Mississippi for a large not-for profit. Trust me, I'm as surprised as you are! Never in a million years would I have expected to live in Biloxi, MS. But I am, and I love it! The people here are warm and welcoming, the view of the Gulf is transfixing, and the need for disaster workers is still great. I'm where I need to be. It seems odd that my two passions are comedy and disaster work (okay, and my grandkids too). They don't seem to have much in common. But I believe one reason I'm able to stay mentally healthy is that I laugh a lot, and make other people laugh too. That is a great feeling.
