My life's not an adventure, but it keeps me awake. Sometimes.

I returned to the states in June 2004, and began what I expected to be a boring life. My expectations were not met. Sure some of it is mind-numbing, but I've been having mini-adventures that keep me pseudo-sane.

3/18 Today's the DAY!

Went to bed after one and woke up at 6 AM on the dot. So I've definitely had adequate time to change the sheets and wash the covers. Soon I'll go out for a late breakfast and then drive to Aurora to Jim and Karen's house.

This is going to be a great day! More later tonight from their house.

I've thought about you a lot today, and I can't begin to imagine how filled with joy, excitement and anticipation you must be feeling right now. Only 45 minute and Rob and Beata will not live half a world away anymore. I am can't even discribe how good that feels to me, and you are his mother. They would need a crowbar to pry me off my son for days to come....Enjoy them tonight, tomorrow they are ours!!!

I'll try to call you. Bad news is they missed their flight in San Fran. Good news is they'll be in at 8 PM.

I know you're all having a great time at Eric's b'day party. Love Jer
