My life's not an adventure, but it keeps me awake. Sometimes.

I returned to the states in June 2004, and began what I expected to be a boring life. My expectations were not met. Sure some of it is mind-numbing, but I've been having mini-adventures that keep me pseudo-sane.

5/27 Better every day

Russ and I broke up. That's why I was sad. But it's the right decision. We'd only known each other three months, but it's still difficult. Today's his birthday, and I hope he's doing well. We're still communicating, but certainly on a different level.

It's a no-fault break up. We just weren't meant for each other. I'll continue to say what a great guy he is, and I'll mean it every time I say it. I'm sure Russ will say kind things about me as well.

This isn't easy. But it's right.

    OMG!
I assume distance played a part too?

I'm sure it did, Bronnie. If we lived closer we probably would have come to this conclusion earlier.

I'm sorry for the sadness you both must feel, Jer. But if it's the right decision, then better to discover that now than have regrets later.
    A hug from Jeff. :)

I think I will quote Jeff from something he recently sent us..."I thought my friendships would last forever, instead, my family has stood the test" so, Jer, what I mean to say is, there are 44 of us behind you 100%. In this family you are never ALONE, just a long drive away!!
