My life's not an adventure, but it keeps me awake. Sometimes.

I returned to the states in June 2004, and began what I expected to be a boring life. My expectations were not met. Sure some of it is mind-numbing, but I've been having mini-adventures that keep me pseudo-sane.

1/8 The interview is finished

They interviewed me from 9-2:30. My pal, Betsy, picked me up at the hotel at 7:30, so it's been a long day.

The interview seemed to go well. Met mostly with the Senior VP for Disaster Response--the person this position reports to. But met with other folks as well. Don't know if they'll offer me the job. And if they do, I don't know if I'll take it. But the odds are good.

The next step is for them to fly me to Mississippi to meet with some people there. I should know about that soon.

Now it's sit and wait to hear from them. :)
