My life's not an adventure, but it keeps me awake. Sometimes.

I returned to the states in June 2004, and began what I expected to be a boring life. My expectations were not met. Sure some of it is mind-numbing, but I've been having mini-adventures that keep me pseudo-sane.

8/18 A big nothing

Today was just that. I've been so frazzled, so took off for the day. Absolutely, positively took the day off.

All I did was sleep, wait for the guys to deliver the daybed, and do one load of laundry.

What a great, nonproductive way to spend a Saturday.

Cindy and Jill, thanks. It was indeed gorgeous. But of course I'll pay for it today. :)

Some of my favorite days are days when we have nothing planned and we just relax around the house. Unfortunately those are few and far between. I think you earned your day off though--we have to have those once in awhile!

I do feel like I earned it, because it's been rather crazy lately. But the beauty of those kind of days is that you don't really have to earn it, you just have to take it. :)
