My life's not an adventure, but it keeps me awake. Sometimes.

I returned to the states in June 2004, and began what I expected to be a boring life. My expectations were not met. Sure some of it is mind-numbing, but I've been having mini-adventures that keep me pseudo-sane.

10/10 I survived

...but cheated just a little. I left the first webinar early and went to a meeting. Willie, our admin assistant, sat at my desk and finished the webinar and conference call for me. All the material was emailed to me afterward so I didn't miss anything.

Then tonight I did my 5:30 conference call in my car right outside of church. It ended early at 6:10 so I wasn't even really late for choir practice. Everyone was still chatting and not singing yet when I joined them.

So everything worked out okay. I'm in a good mood, but tired. And have to be at a photo op in Gulfport at 8 AM, so will need to get up a little earlier tomorrow.

At choir I found out we're singing at the cathedral at the end of the month. I'm pretty psyched.

You're both right. :) I have another webinar tomorrow. I think I had four of them this week. Unusual for sure. Normally there's none or maybe one.

I have to get up no later than 5 am every weekday. I think sleeping til 6 is a luxury!

Don't have to be to work until 8:30. I like to get in earlier, but doggy day care doesn't open until 8.

What I meant was that she goes to work earlier but goes home earlier. It's all the same.... eight hours is eight hours no matter when you put it in. :)

You Win!!!! How do you know how many hours I work?

That is why joe wins...he RARELY works ONLY 8 hours, NEVER works ONLY 40 per week and he has done that for 32 years mostly OVERNIGHT>>>>>so feel free to try that. And I bet if you ever watched Dirty Jobs, you'd agree doing some of those jobs for 8 hours would be hell compared to what we do! So I say, we all say, we work hard and some people are overpaid to do it and most are far underpaid. I for one am VERY thankful for my blessings.(Joe and a job I like[most days]) And NOW I will shut up also Jer.

No need, Cindy. Joe does indeed work very hard, and he's had some rough hours. It's wonderful that he's kept the same job for so many years. He's a steady guy. (Wait, that's John's word, but you get my drift.)
