My life's not an adventure, but it keeps me awake. Sometimes.

I returned to the states in June 2004, and began what I expected to be a boring life. My expectations were not met. Sure some of it is mind-numbing, but I've been having mini-adventures that keep me pseudo-sane.

10/2 Office stuff

I worked in the office all day. It was good except things kept happening and I wasn't able to get things put away or organized. Tomorrow a VP will be visiting from Austin, so we'll have other stuff to do. I've set aside Friday to finally put away the boxes full of "stuff" in my new office.

And I wasn't bothered by ants today. There are still welts on my left arm and my feet, but nothing new today. Yay for that.

Tomorrow or the next day we'll have guys in to set up our computer network and phone system. I can't wait.

That is weird...I worked in my office all day too. Isn't it great we have such a fun place to be during the day? But I have to say, I don't think I'd stay in mine after ONE ant bite...Is that considered Work Comp? Sounds like Old Miss has some insect problems to me. Hope the rest of your week goes better

Thanks, Cin. I think any tropical place has bugs. I remember the roaches in Hawaii were horrendous. That's why everyone had geckos in their house--to eat the roaches. Nothing else would work (in those days anyway).

    But these ants were NASTY!

It sounds like the ant bites were painful! Are they gone now?

Nope. The ones on my feet look like red dots. The ones on my arm look like mini-volcanoes. :) But at least they don't itch any more.
