My life's not an adventure, but it keeps me awake. Sometimes.

I returned to the states in June 2004, and began what I expected to be a boring life. My expectations were not met. Sure some of it is mind-numbing, but I've been having mini-adventures that keep me pseudo-sane.

12/3 In the 30s tonight

Guess I should stop bragging about the weather. :) It was in the 60s and sunny today, but tonight is supposed to be about 35. I brought my outdoor plants inside, just in case. And Quincy ate some of them. Yeah. Luckily I don't have any poisonous ones.

This is the closest I've ever come to smacking her. Boy was I ever mad. Then I found the plant in another room. She hadn't eaten it; she just played with it. I was a little less mad, except now I have mud strewn about. That's nothing new of course.

Have been working tonight (work-work stuff), so I better get back to it. More pictures tomorrow.

Winter is my favorite time of the year. I have always loved snow, the more the better!

Cindy, today it's sunny and in the 60s again, and tonight around 45. It's supposed to be back in the 70s for the weekend, so that's very good news. Sorry it's so cold at home.

Andrea, I love snow too. I think that cold weather is a waste, unless there's snow associated with it. Why do you think I lived in Milwaukee for 10 years? :)

If it weren't for the skyrocketing cost of heating our house I would love cold weather too. If it's subzero outside, and you're inside baking something in your oven (preferably something decadent)

I always get excited for the first big snow and then I'm done with winter. Give me spring and fall year 'round and I'd be a happy girl.

Sounds too cold for me... guess that is why I live in California.

Other than the one cold night, this is just about perfect. I don't mind 60s or 70s during the day. In fact, I love it, because it's accompanied by sunshine.

We have a "Snow Advisory" from noon to six PM!! Suzie is driving home this morning. She should make it ahead of the snow.
