My life's not an adventure, but it keeps me awake. Sometimes.

I returned to the states in June 2004, and began what I expected to be a boring life. My expectations were not met. Sure some of it is mind-numbing, but I've been having mini-adventures that keep me pseudo-sane.

3/11 Another great one

We went through Alabama into Florida. Went to Pensacola Beach and it was absolutely beautiful. Eric took so many great photos, and I can't wait until he posts them on his website.

Tomorrow we're going to New Orleans again. Right now I am super-tired so will hit the sack. Am looking forward to another fun-filled day tomorrow.

I've always loved Pensacola! My sister's brother used to live there, so for awhile, we had a place to stay for free while visiting that lovely city.
About N.O.'s above-ground cemeteries. We have those here in Savannah, too. They are soooo beautiful. I love cemeteries, anyway, probably because I grew up across the street from one and the ducks in the pond there were the nearest "friends" to my house.
If you ever get to Savannah, we'll go to Bonaventure Cemetery, visit a couple of famous writers and maybe picnic on the bluff over looking the river.
